
The TMT Boys defeated Hawks 1-0 in their crunch semi-final match played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum on Tuesday.
Musa Yaffa’s own goal in the 42nd minute of the match was all but enough to earn TMT FC a spot in the FF Cup final.
Midfielder Mass Njie came very close to levelling maters for Hawks in the 53rd minute of the match but his powerful shot went wide thus the match ended 1-0 in favour of TMT FC.
The victory earns TMT FC a place in the FF Cup final.
Speaking to Point Sports shortly after the final whistle, head coach of TMT FC, Alieu Colley, thanked God for earning TMT FC back-to-back FF Cup final.
“We have been working hard to make sure we reach the final. We are going back to the drawing board to prepare well for the FF Cup final against Greater Tomorrow," Coach Colley said.
Gaffer Colley stated that their FF Cup final against Greater Tomorrow won’t be an easy match, adding that Greater Tomorrow work hard to reach the FF Cup final.
Meanwhile, Greater Tomorrow sailed to the FF Cup final after defeating Real de Banjul 1-0 in their semi-final match played at the Brikama Box Mini Stadium on Tuesday.
