Muhammed Tamba instigates Bombada to crucial victory in 2nd Tier

Prolific striker Muhammed Tamba on Monday inspired Bombada to a crucial victory over Gunjur United in the going 2020-2021 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League.

The Brikama based-outfit defeated Gunjur United 1-0 in their week-nine game played at the Real De Banjul Football Academy field at Basori to maintain their dreams of regaining promotion to the country’s top tier next season.

Bombada and Gunjur United are both competing to gain promotion to the country’s top flight next season.

The duo came for the significant three points to fancy their chances of gaining promotion to the country’s premier league but the Brikama based-team bagged the vital points thanks to Muhammed Tamba’s 86th minute strike.

Bombada now gripped 13 points in eight league matches with a game in hand against Falcons while Gunjur United are with 14 points after nine league outings.
