Milan FC win big, Rangers FC loss back-to-back fixtures in SESDO Nawetan

Milan FC of Tallinding have become the first team to win with five goals, while Rangers FC of Serrekunda lost all two of their fixtures in the ongoing Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) ‘Nawetan’ tournament. All games were played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Milan FC became the first team to win with a big score-line after thrashing Lions of T. Town 5-0 in the earlier game played last Tuesday 20th September 2022.

Leeds United and United Stars played a goalless draw in the late encounter played on the same day.

New Germany FC defeated Latrikunda United 2-0 during the earlier game played last Wednesday.

Assan Nyang scored both goals for New Germany. He opened the scoring for New Germany in the 5th minute before completing his double in the 47th minute.

Assan Nyang was awarded the Man of the Match award after guiding his team to victory with his brace.

  1. Town defeated Falcons 2-1 during the late encounter played last Wednesday.

Molamin Sarr scored both goals for T. Town FC. He opened the scoring in the 34th minute before adding his second in the 70th minute. Muhammed Jammeh scored the only goal for Falcons FC.

Sankung Sawaneh of T. Town was awarded the Man of the Match award for his wonderful display leading to his side’s victory.

Blue Star was defeated 1-0 by Wah Sa Halat in the earlier game played on Thursday.

Buba Gibba scored the only goal of the match for Wah Sa Halat in the 51st minute.

Alagie Touray of Blue Star was awarded the Man of the Match award for his performance.

Rangers FC lost their back-to-back fixtures after their latest 1-0 defeat to Hannover FC during the late encounter played on Thursday.

Alieu Nyassi scored the only important goal for Hannover FC in the 45th minute.

Salifu Demba of Hannover FC was awarded the Man of the Match award for his valuable contribution for his team.

Rangers FC was first defeated 1-0 by Eagle Star FC during their opening game of the tournament.

Abuko United and Nguma FC played a 1-1 draw during the earlier game played on Friday.

Muhammed Sambou gave Nguma FC the lead in the 47th minute before Peter Manga restored purity for Abuko United in the 75th minute.

Jola Kunda United beat Abuko South 1-0 during their second game played earlier on Friday.     

Abdourahman Badamosi scored the only goal of the game for Jola Kunda United in the 63rd minute.

Ebbeh Gi were beaten 2-1 by BJ Academy during their second group game played earlier on Saturday.

Yunuspha Manneh opened the scoring for Ebbeh Gi in the 10th minute.

The Baboucarr Jallow Academy (BJ Academy) came from behind with two goals to win the game after Modou Jarju scored the leveler in the 56th minute, before Modou Lamin Ceesay scored the winner in the 66th minute.

Casa United defeated Magtab Warriors 2-1 during their second game played later on Saturday.

Old Hands were defeated 2-0 by Goh Bi during their second game played earlier on Sunday.

Alieu Jarju opened the scoring for Goh Bi in the 50th minute, before Muhammed Allah sealed the victory for them in the 70th minute.

Medina FC beat Future Stars FC 1-0 in their second group game played late on Sunday.

Essa Ceesay scored the only goal of the match for Medina FC in the 17th minute of the second half.
