The presentation ceremony was held at the Farafenni General Hospital Conference Room.
The presentation ceremony brought together delegates form MHSCCU, Farafenni Hospital management and stakeholders of the football association.
The presentation cereony also witnessed the presentation of certificate of appreciation to the MHSCCU by the club for their unwavering support to the team.
The presentation was part of MHSCCU’s continued commitment in ploughing back to community development and partnership.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, marketing officer of MHSCCU, Maimuna S. Jallow Jagne, described the occasion a joy, adding that they at the management level of the MHSCCU are there to manage funds that people entrusted to them.
Jagne stated that the credit union belongs to all of them.
She assured MHSCCU’s continued support to the team
Jagne urged the team to advocate for the expansion and strength of the Credit Union.
She also urged the team and other members to continue saving for the growth into the Credit Union and promote the welfare of the members of the medial and health staff.
She encouraged the team to encourage their other team members to further advocate for the expansion and strength of the Credit Union.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Farafenni General Hospital, Kebba Manneh, stated that the gesture added value to their participation in tournament, adding that the gesture would boost the morality of the team.
Manneh thanked MHSCCU for the gesture, while assuring his support to the Union.
He challenged the team to win the trophy at end of the tournament.
“We would advocate for the Credit Union we encourage all staff members to take ownership of the Union.
W are behind the Credit Union 100%,” Manneh assured.
Head Coach of Farafenni General Hospital Football Club, Abdu Komma, revealed that the donation would enhance their performance.
He noted that their ambition is to win the trophy at the end of the tournament.
Assistant Coach of the club, Muhammed Sanneh, revealed that two weeks ago they wrote to MHSCCU for support to enhance football gears, adding that MHSCCU in a short time responded to their needs beyond expectations.
Administrator of Farafenni General Hospital, Famara Sillah, applauded the management of MHSCCU for their timely intervention, adding that the support received from MHSCCU would boost the team's social activities.
