Kifa Barham said the youth World Cup is approaching and The Gambia needs to make its participation felt.
He added that more efforts are needed to achieve a collective victory in the world of football.
According to him, the Senegalese football industry is doing its utmost best to secure all competition platforms.
He went on to say that more Gambians young athletes dream of play in the Senegalese league which they see as a route for their professional careers.
Kifa, a visionary Sports Administrator and football manager, who owns a grassroots football club; Dolphin Stars FC, highlighted the importance of football scouting and talent identification.
He noted that the country nearly lost Lamin Jarjue to Senegal due to late scouting.
He said Lamin Deen is another young Gambian plying his trade in Italy with Napoli Under 19. He called on the Federation and national team coaches to keep an eye on him and scout him early.
He also urged football stakeholders to closely partner with Sport Journalists, Football Scouts and Coaches in inviting competent professional young players to represent the country.
Kifa appeals to government, private sector and individual Gambians to support the process and early preparation of the team for the World Cup.
