Manjai nawettan qualifiers wraps up

The 2024 Manjai Sports Association (MSA) ‘nawettan’ qualifiers has  wrapped up on Tuesday 6th August 2024 at the Father Gough Sports Complex with stirring and breathtaking encounters.

The Manjai nawettan qualifiers featured 48 teams.

Only four teams secured qualification to the Manjai nawettan proper after winning their play-off matches.

Brusubi Extension, London Stars FC, Manjai Sanchaba FC and Father Gough FC all secured qualification to the 2024 Manjai nawettan proper after winning their qualifier clashes.

Brusubi Extension FC secured a place in the Manjai nawettan proper following their 5-3 post-match penalty shootouts win over Filan FC after regulation time ended goalless.

The Brusubi based team cruised to this year’s Manjai nawettan proper beating relegated side Filan FC.

London Stars FC returned to the Manjai nawettan proper following their 6-5 penalty shootouts victory over  BK City after regular time ended goalless.

The Bakoteh-based team, who had a brilliant run during the qualifiers, missed the opportunity to secure qualification to the Manjai nawettan proper after slipping to London Stars FC.

E D'Promise Land FC missed the chance to snatch qualification to the Manjai nawettan proper following their 4-3 post-match penalty shootouts defeat to Manjai Sanchaba FC after normal time ended goalless.

Manjai Sanchaba FC returned to the Manjai nawettan proper after defeating ambitious D'Promise Land FC.

Father Gaugh FA sailed to the Manjai nawettan proper after beating Coastal Road Giants 1-0.

Coastal Road Giants, who won all their qualifier matches,  missed the opportunity to secure qualification to the Manjai nawettan proper after losing to Father Gough FA .
