Speaking to journalists shortly after the final whistle, head coach of Luniburg FC, Omar Joof, stated that his side prepared very well for the final, adding that Ron Mongo defeated them on post-match penalty shootouts.
Coach Joof revealed that he told his players that they couldn't let Ron Mango defeat them twice.
He further revealed that the victory means a lot to his team, adding that the victory would also bring togetherness in his team.
Coach Joof thanked the fans for their sacrifice during the nawettan campaign.
Head coach of Ron Mango, Abdoulie Jammeh revealed that his team was young team, adding that this is their first some of his players appear in the Bakau nawettan.
Coach Jammeh pointed out they were going back to their training ground to prepare very well for the league final.
