The Brikama based-team thrashed Greater Tomorrow 3-0 in their opening fixture played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Sunday.
Bombada and Greater Tomorrow were keen to secure the maximum points and piled pressure on each other, creating goal scoring opportunities but failed to score thus the first half ended goalless.
Upon resumption of the match, Bombada regrouped themselves and mounted heavy pressure on Greater Tomorrow defence line, crafting goal scoring opportunities.
Lamin Jatta opened the scores for Bombada in the 47th minute of the match from a dazzling volley.
Musa Jarju scored the second goal for Bombada in the 84th minute of the match from a clinical strike.
Dodou Touray netted third goal for Bombada in the 86th minute of the match to dart Greater Tomorrow’s dreams of coming back to their feet.
Greater Tomorrow fought hard for an equaliser but to no avail thus the match ended 3-0 in favour of Bombada.
The win earns Bombada third-place on the First Division League table with 3 points after one league match.
