Leeds Utd through to SESDO League Cup final

Leeds United FC is through to the Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) Africell sponsored League Cup final after thrashing Future Bii 3-0 during the Bundung-derby played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Saturday.

 

Agibou Dibba’s brace in the 10th and 76th minutes and Alieu Kanteh’s goal in the 70th minute were all that Leeds United needed to book their place into the final.

Bundung-based team, Future Bii who surprised many by qualifying into the semi-final stage were dominated in most parts of the game by Leeds United.

Leeds United, another Bundung-based team who were defeated in the semi-final stage of the Knockout Cup tournament by Medina FC seems to have rectified their mistakes.

Leeds United was the only team to qualify for the semi-finals of both tournaments before they were eliminated in the Knockout Cup competition.

Leeds United, under the guidance of Abdoulie Sidibeh will now await the winners of yesterday’s (Sunday) game between T. Town and Rangers in the other second semi-final game.
