Latrikunda United played 1-1 draw against Serrekunda United during their week twenty-nine fixture played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Saturday.
The host Latrikunda United took the lead through Alagie Omar Faal’s stunning 35-yard free-kick in the 15th minute, before Sherriff Kamara equalised for Serrekunda United following substitute Mustapha Njie’s fantastic performance which changed the game for his side shortly after his introduction.
The Latrikunda Sabiji-based team has now conceded their 13th draw of the season, while the Serrekunda-based team conceded their ninth draw of the league.
Latrikunda United overall registered six wins, 13 draws and suffered 10 defeats in 29 matches, while Serrekunda United overall gathered seven victories, nine draws and suffered 13 losses in 29 games.
The result maintained both teams on their respective positions. Latrikunda United sit 14th place with 31 points, while Serrekunda United occupy 15th position with 30 points.
