Five Gambian athletes will today, Friday leave The Gambia for the High Performance Training Center (HPTC) in Dakar, Senegal to continue their preparations for the qualifiers ahead on the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games in Japan.
All villages affiliated with Kombo South District Football Association (KSDFA) are expected to participate in the annual football championship.
The tournament attracts spectators from Kombo South and its environs.
Divisional league club coaches use the yearly competition to scout good players for their respective teams.
Meanwhile, Farato won the last edition of Kombo South District football tournament trophy after defeating Batokunku 1-0 in a final played at the Jambanjelly Football Field.
