Johm’s progressed to the final of the Manjai nawettan knockout competition following their 4-2 post-match penalty shootouts win over Starlight after regulation time ended goalless in their semi-final match played on Saturday 28th October 2023.
Both teams came into the match with the intention of beating each other to advance to the final of the Manjai nawettan knockout competition but regulation time ended goalless.
This pushed the match into post-match penalty shootouts, which ended 4-2 in favour of Johm’s FC.
Kololi United defeated Kololi Central1-0 during their Kololi derby semi-final match played on Sunday 29th October 2023 to sail to the final of the Manjai nawettan knockout competition.
The two Kololi teams have been exceptional in the 2023 Manjai nawettan season after securing their place in the semi-finals of both the league and knockout competitions.
Each of the two teams will play in one of the finals of this year’s Manjai nawettan tournament.
Kololi United, who were beaten in the semi-final stage of the Manjai nawettan league competition, will now play the knockout competition final.
Kololi Central advanced to the final of the knockout competition but were eliminated from the league competition.
