Last year’s League Cup winners, Jeshwang City won the Knockout Cup tournament after defeating Empty Land 3-1 on post-match penalty shootouts following a goalless draw in the regulation time.
The match, like it initially, also failed to produce a winner in the regulation time but this time around the game was pushed to penalty shootouts which gave the New Jeshwang-based team the last smile.
As winners of the tournament, Jeshwang City were awarded a giant trophy and a cash prize of D40, 000, while the runners up, Empty Land received a consolation prize of D30, 000.
