Jam City thrash Gunjur Utd to move away from demotion zone in 2nd Division

Jam City on Wednesday thrashed Gunjur United 3-1 in their week-30 clash played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum to move away from the relegation zone in the 2021-20222 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League.

The Jambanjelly based-club sat third-place from bottom on the country's Second Tier table with 28 points prior to their match with the Coastal Town boys, who are fraying for promotion to the First Division League.

Jam City required a win against Gunjur United to move away from the demotion zone in the Second Division League.

The Jambanjelly based-club notched in three goals during the match to secure a convincing victory over Gunjur United.

The victory moved Jam City away from the relegation zone in the Second Tier with 31 points.

Gunjur United scored one goal in the match which eventually proved to be a consolation for them.

The Coastal Town boys remained seventh-place on the Second Division League table with 45 points after losing to Jam City.
