Jassey was speaking at a press conference held at the Football House in Kanifing on Thursday 4 January 2024.
‘‘Jallon Kollon Construction Company’s construct was terminated due to slow pace of works at the Coastal Town biggest football arena,’’Jassey said.
Jassey revealed that following the termination of Jallo Kollon Construction Company’s contract, the GFF contracted Larr Construction Company to continue work at the Coast Town biggest football arena.
Jassey further revealed that competition manager of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Babocarr Jobe alias Pa Sulayman, was supposed to visit Gunjur Mini Stadium on Thursday 4 January 2024 to see whether league matches could be played at the Coastal Town’s biggest football arena during the second round of the league campaign.
He stated that a delegation from FIFA came to The Gambia and visited all FIFA sponsored projects across the country.
