Home based Scorpions intensify preparations prior to Algeria match

The Gambia local based national team have intensified their preparations ahead of their 2025 CHAN qualifier match at home to Algeria on 3rd May 2025 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

The home based Scorpions are currently training at the National Technical Training Centre in Old Yundum to prepare themselves ready for the Algeria clash.

The Gambia home based national team defeated Gabon 5-3 on penalties to cruise to the final round of the 2025 CHAN qualifiers.

Coach Alagie Sarr and his home based Scorpions are set to beat Algeria in the first-leg match at the Independence Stadium and finish job in the second-leg fixture in Algiers.
