Gunjur Sports Committee to hold meeting with teams tomorrow

Gunjur Sports Committee (GSC) is set to hold a meeting with teams on Saturday at the Gunjur Daycare Centre ahead of the 2021-2022 Gunjur ‘nawetan’ qualifiers.

 

The meeting will bring together teams to discuss the upcoming Gunjur nawetan qualifiers.

Black Panthers, Martin Football Academy, Sunderland FC and White Croc Football academy were all relegated after finishing bottom-places in their respective groups.

Meanwhile, Red Star Family FC clinched the 2019-2020 Gunjur nawetan league trophy after pummeling Smarteq FC 2-0 in a final played at the Gunjur Upper Basic School Football Field.

Prolific Striker Dawda Darboe alias Viper and creative midfielder Arafang Jobe alias Barbel were on the score sheet for Red Star Family FC in the match.

Ecomog FC lifted the 2019-2020 Gunjur nawetan knock-out trophy after thrashing Mariken Investment FC in a final played at the Gunjur Upper Basic Football Field.
