Gunjur navigate to KSD tournament quarter-finals

The Coastal Town boys, who won the annual Kombo South District biggest football tournament trophy last year, dominated the Kachumeh boys in the match and created some goal-scoring opportunities.

Gunjur scored two goals in the match to advance to the last eight of the 2023 Approve Services (APS) sponsored Kombo South District football tournament.

Kachumeh netted one goal in the match, which eventually proved to be a consolation for them.

The defeat saw Kachumeh out of the annual Kombo South District football tournament. They will now hang their boots until next year.

Meanwhile, Gunjur will now clash with Kartong in their quarter-final game of the 2023 Approve Services (APS) sponsored Kombo South District football tournament on Sunday 26th February 2023 at the Sifoe Football Field at 4.30pm.
