The project started with the leveling of the football pitch before the beginning of the perimeter fencing work.
Meanwhile, the Gunjur Mini Stadium construction is bankrolled by world’s football governing body FIFA and coordinated by The Gambia Football Federation (GFF).
The ground is expected to host international and league matches after the completion of the project.
