Gambian players who are plying their trades in Italy were superb for their respective Serie A clubs this season.

Budding Ebrima Colley was terrific as Atalanta finished third-spot in Serie A table standings.

Colley and his team reached the quarter-final of the 2019-2020 UEFA Champions League after eliminating Spanish side Valencia in the knock-out phase of Europe elite football clubs competition.

Musa Barrow and Musa Juwara were both influential for Bologna this season.

Meanwhile, captain Omar Colley was also significant for Sampdoria this season as they avoided relegation.
