Greater Tomorrow move 2nd, Tallinding Utd beaten in GFF 2 Division League

Greater Tomorrow have moved to second position while Tallinding United was defeated during the week-27 fixtures of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League played on Wednesday.

Greater Tomorrow moved to second position in the GFF 2nd Division League after defeating struggling side Red Hawks FC during a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum.

West Coast Region-based team, Greater Tomorrow, now collected 15 victories while Red Hawks suffered their 15th defeat of the league season.

Greater Tomorrow overall collected 4 draws and suffered 8 defeats after 27 matches while Red Hawks overall collected 7 wins and 5 draws.

The win moved Greater Tomorrow FC to 2nd position with 49 points while the defeat dropped Red Hawks FC 15th position with 26 points.

Tallinding United were beaten 3-0 by Jam City during a game played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Wednesday.

Buffer Zone boys, Tallinding United now suffered their ninth defeat of the season while Jambanjelly-based team, Jam City now collected their sixth win of the season.

Jam City overall collected 6 draws and suffered 15 defeats after 27 matches, while Tallinding United overall collected 10 wins and 7 draws in 26 matches.

The victory maintained Jam City at the relegation (16th) position with 24 points while the defeat dropped Tallinding United to 11th position with 37 points.

Jarra West beat Kanifing East 1-0 during a game played at the Soma Mini-Stadium on Wednesday.

Lower River Region-based team, Jarra West now collected their 11th win of the season while the Eastern boys, Kanifing suffered their sixth defeat of the league.

The triumph moved Jarra West to 9th position with 40 points, one point ahead of Kanifing East who occupied 10th position with 39 points.
