GPF congratulates Sub-Inspector Fatou Ngum on historic CAF appointment

The Leadership of The Gambia Police Force (GPF), through its Sports Department under the auspices of Deputy Superintendent of Police Alpha Badjie, has congratulated Sub-Inspector Fatou Ngum on her prestigious appointment by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Referee Fatou Ngum has been selected to officiate as part of an all-Gambian panel of match officials for the CAF Women’s U-20 fixture between South Africa and Ghana played at the Mbombela Stadium in South Africa on Saturday.

Ngum was supported by fellow Gambian officials , Abbie Ceesay as First Assistant Referee, Jainaba Jammeh as Second Assistant Referee, and Isatou Touray as Fourth Official.

Ngum's  historic appointment by CAF is a clear testament to her exceptional competence, professionalism and consistently high standard of officiating at both national and international levels.

Her appointment reflects positively on the quality and growing recognition of Gambian refereeing on the continental stage.
