The Gambia Ports Authority have suffered yet another upset in the 2023-2024 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League after slipping to Wagadu FC 1-0 in their week-26 match played at the Live Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori on Saturday.

The Ferry boys lost to Serrekunda United in their previous league outing before locking horns with Wagadu FC.

The Gambia Ports Authority needed the maximum points to close the gap on teams above them on the country’s Second Tier table but slipped to Wagadu FC to suffer another set back in the Second Division League.

The Ferry boys now sit 6th place on the Second Division League Table with 39 points after 26 league outings.

The Gambia Ports Authority must win their remaining eight league outings to finish in the top five on the Second Division League table.

The win earns Wagadu FC 9th place on the country’s Second Tier table with 33 points in 26 league matches.
