GPA return to winning ways in 2nd Division

The Gambia Ports Authority FC have returned to winning ways in the 2023-2024 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League following their 2-1 victory over Kanifing East in their week-30 fixture played at the Bakau Mini-Stadium on Thursday.

Musa Dampha and Alagie Barrow’s wonderful goals were enough to earn The Gambia Ports Authority FC the significant maximum points.

The Ferry boys returned to winning ways in the country’s Second Tier campaign, thanks to goals from Musa Dampha and Alagie Barrow during the match.

The Gambia Ports Authority lost to Jam City 1-0 in their previous league fixture prior to their match with Kanifing East FC.

The Gambia Ports Authority FC now collected their 12th win of the league season, while the Estate boys now suffered their 10th defeat of the league campaign.

The Gambia Ports Authority  FC under the guidance of Coach Coker overall registered 12 wins, 10 draws and eight defeats in 30 league games, while Kanifing East overall earned eight victories, 12 draws and 10 defeats in 30 league matches.

The victory earns The Gambia Ports Authority FC 7th position on the league table with 46 points, while Kanifing East FC sit10th position on the league table with 36 points, levelling Sports
