GNOC Secretary General Njie reassures support to Gambian coaches

Secretary General of The Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC), Yorro Njie, has reassured GNOC's support to coaches develop sports in The Gambia.

Njie was speaking during the closing ceremony of a five-day intensive handball coaching course at the Seaview Gardens Hotel in Kolloli.

Njie stated that GNOC would render support to coaches to promote sports in the country.

He described the training as a towering achievement in GNOC's drive to develop all sports in The Gambia.

The D Lincense is an entry level coaching certification for handball, issued by the International Handball Federation (IHF) upon completion of the D Lincense Course. Other levels include C Lincense, B Lincense and A Lincense.

The D lincense covers handball fundamentals, ranging from coaching principles, trainings methods and others.
