GFF Women's League 1: Police win, Berewuleng and TMT held

The Gambia Police Force ladies have secured a resounding victory over Jeshwang United in the 2024\2025 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women’s League Division One.

Berewuleng FC and TMT FC were held to goalless draws by Koita FC and Red Scorpions in the Women’s League Division One campaign.

The female Police hammered Jeshwang United 4-0 in their week-six fixture played at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama on Sunday.

Fatou Sonko scored a hat trick for the Police girls in the 45th and 57th and stoppage time of the match respectively.

Nenneh Jallow also registered her name on the score sheet for the Police girls during the match.

The Gambia Police Force FC now occupy fourth-place on the league table with 13 points.

The Police girls won three matches, drew one and lost one.

League leaders, Berewuleng FC were held to a goalless draw by Koita FC at the Live Your Dream Sports Academy in Basori on Saturday.

Berewuleng FC sit top-spot on the league table with 16 points.

The Brikama Berewuleng based-team won five matches and drew one.TMT FC drew goalless with Red Scorpions at the Hawks Football Field in Kabekel on Sunday.

TMT FC still occupy second-place on the league table with 14 points.

 The TMT girls won four matches and drew two.

Red Scorpions sit fourth-place on the league table with 13 points, levelling The Gambia Police Force FC.

Brikama United defeated Future Bi 2-0 at the Hawks Football Field at Kabekel on Friday.

Binta Jarju scored a brace for Brikama United during the match.

Brikama United sit fifth-place on the league table with 10 points.

The Brikama based-team won three matches, drew one and lost two.

Immigration thrashed Yakarr FC 3-1 at the Gunjur Nyamina Mini Stadium on Sunday.

Haddy Wally, Fatoumatta S. Jallow and Mariama Singhateh were on target for Brikama United during the match.

Susan Mendy’s lone goal during the match only proved to be a consolation for the Sifoe based-team.

Immigration occupy sixth-place on the league table with 7 points.

The Immigration won two matches, drew one and lost three.

Koita FC sit seventh-place on the league table with 4 points.

The Koita girls drew four matches and lost two.

Future Bi occupy eighth-place on the league table with 4 points.

 The Future Bi girls won one matches, drew one and lost four.

Yakarr FC sit second-place from bottom on the league table with 3 points.

The Yakarr girls won one match and lost five.

Jeshwang United occupy bottom-place on the league table without a points after six league outings.
