"Sports journalists are playing a very pivotal role in updating the masses and also exposing the beautiful culture of teams and tribes of The Gambia,'' Secretary General Jassey said.
Jassey noted that he saw videos online of fan clubs who came into the football ground with a horse and 'kankurang'.
He commended sports journalists for reporting everything that transpired on and off the pitch in all nawettan zones.
Jassey stated that GFF is ready to work hand in glove with all zones, particularly Brufut who had a very big multi-purpose center but lack development for now.
"It is left to the committee to take it to themselves and reach out on a professional dialogue then the federation can facilitate through the Gambia Government, FIFA and CAF as well.
Many praised Jassey for stepping in to moderate a dialogue between Brufut Youths and Sports Committee Development and West Coast Regional Football Association to reverse a decision on the suspension of BYSC after Alagie Suwareh and many other executive members resignation was announced on Facebook.
