Gambia U-17 depart for Mali as WAFU Zone A U-17 Cup of Nations edges closer

The Gambia U-17 team yesterday departed Banjul for Mali, as the 2025 WAFU Zone A U-17 Cup of Nations draws nearer.

Coach Yahya Manneh travelled to Mali with twenty-one (21) players for the sub-regional cadet biggest football showpiece.

The Baby Scorpions will hold series of training sessions before playing against Guinea Bissau in their opening group match on Sunday.

The Gambia U-17 team held several training sessions at the National Technical Training Centre in Old Yundum before travelling to Mali for the sub-regional junior biggest football fiesta.

The Baby Scorpions are well-prepared for their 2025 WAFU Zone A U-17 Cup of Nations opening group match against Guinea Bissau.
