The materials include eight big cones,12 assistant referee flags, sets of goal post nets, touch line band, six goal post spray set of net, two sets of long cones, a set of gold, silver and bronze medals.
Mr. Jatta in his deliberation said he wants the Committee to be successful hence the Federation and government cannot do it all, nothing that's why he deemed it necessary to help with the little he could to keep the game alive.
President of the GFF, Rtd. Captain Lamin Kaba Bajo, on his part thanked Mr. Jatta for the equipment he provided.
“It is highly appreciated and the donation will help in the development of the game in which the Federation is doing all it can to take it to the next level, Mr. Bajo, a seasoned Gambian diplomat said.
“Beach soccer is very important to us and I will personally see to it that we help to develop it to the highest level we can.”
In conclusion, Ambassador Bajo pledged a personal contribution of Thirty Thousand Dalasi for the upcoming beach soccer final.
Abou Khan, the President of the North Bank Regional Football Association and chairman of the Beach Soccer Committee, Kemo Ceesay the Finance Director and Alagie Badjie the GFF head of security, all hailed Jatta for the gesture, adding that the bold step he took to donate the Federation.
Kemo Ceesay pledged Ten Thousand Dalasi for the beach soccer final.
