The GFF/FIFA U-17 Girls League Development entered week-five with the three games producing 12 goals, averaging four goals per game.

Girls Soccer FA and Stains FA all registered vital wins while Queens of Lamin and Yakarr Football Academy played out an entertaining draw.

The Queens and Yakarr’s game ended in a nail betting 3-3 draw in the early kickoff at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.

Isatou Saidy opened the scoring for the Queens of Lamin in the second minute, before Yakarr replied in the fourth minute courtesy of Susan Mendy.

Joko Saho gave Yakarr the lead four minutes later and Banna Jarju added another in the 19th minute with a clinical finish.

However, Queens of Lamin produced a great fight back to level matters. Penda Gindeh scored a classical goal in the 25th minute of the match before substitute Sainabou Bah restored parity for the Queens of Lamin a minute after her introduction in the 47th minute to share the spoils.

Meanwhile, the second game featuring Girls Soccer FA and Nyo Dema FA ended in a 3-1 victory for the former.

Mary Gaye put Girl Soccer in front in the fifth minute, but Husai Sanneh equalised for Nyo Dema in the 20th minute of the match.

Mariama Jeng and Marie Fofana saved the points for Girls Soccer Academy with a goal each in the 47th and 50th minutes of the match respectively.

Elsewhere, Stains FA recorded a 2-0 victory over fellow strugglers Blue Diamonds FA in Banjul.
