Africeell came close to levelling matters through Sarjo Ceesay in the 40th minute of the match but his header went away.
Sainey Sambou extended Gamtel/Gamcel’s advantage in the 66th minute of the match from a delightful finish.
Patrick Bajohn’s stoppage time goal only proved to be a consolation goal for Africell thus the match ended 2-1 in favour of Gamtel-Gamcel.
Gamtel/Gamcel received a giant trophy, gold medals and a cash prize of D30,000 as champions while Africell went home with a mini trophy, silver medals and D20, 000 as runners-up.
Banding Jawneh of Gamtel/Gamcel was awarded as the leading goal scorer of the tournament after scoring four goals.
Tijan Dumbuya of Gamtel/Gamcel was awarded as the best goalkeeper of the tournament after conceding only one goal during the tournament.
Jawneh and Dumbuya received D5000 each.
