Malang Fofana opened the scoring for Gambian Dutch Lions in the 28th minute, while Sulayman Joof doubled their lead after converting from the spot in the 68th minute, leaving the management and staff of B.K. Milan disappointed.
Gambian Dutch Lions FC, formerly Medical FC, now recorded their ninth win of the season, while B.K. Milan FC now suffered their fourth loss of the league.
Gambian Dutch Lions FC overall collected nine wins, six draws and suffered five defeats in 20 matches, while the Bakau Kachikally-based team, overall registered eight victories, eight draws and suffered four losses in 20 games.
The win moved Gambian Dutch Lions FC to 2nd position with 33 points, one point ahead of B.K. Milan FC, who dropped to 3rd position with 32 points.
