Gambia wrap up int’l training camp in Morocco as AFCON looms

The Gambia senior national team on Tuesday wrapped up their international training camp in Morocco, as the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations looms.

 

The Scorpions slipped to Morocco CHAN team 7-2 in their first match and Sierra Leone 2-1 in their second match before clashing with the South Sudan.

Coach Tom Sanitfiet and his charges beat Sudan South 2-1 in their third and final game after losing their two opening matches against Morocco CHAN team and Sierra Leone.

Coach Tom Saintfiet and his charges must improve on their weakness quickly ahead of the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations following woeful performance in Morocco international training camp.
