Gambia U-20 stunned Cameroon in friendly

The Gambia U-20 team over the weekend defeated Cameroon 1-0 in an international friendly match played in Rabat, Morocco.

The Young Scorpions are currently in the North African country for an international training camp to prepare themselves fit enough for the 2021 Africa U-20 Youth Championship set to begin on 14 February 2021 in Mauritania.

The Gambia U-20 team netted one goal without Cameroon responding to snatch a hard-fought win over the Young Indomitable Lions in their first international friendly match.

The Young Scorpions are set to play series of test matches before their 2021 Africa U-20 Youth Championship opening match with Morocco on 16 February 2021.
