Fortune maintain top spot in 1st Division League

Fortune FC on Friday drew 0-0 with Hawks FC in their week-four fixture played at the Independence Stadium to maintain top spot in the 2020-2021 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League campaign.

The Petroleum boys were topping the country's top flight league standings with 7 points prior to their match with the Red Devils, who are struggling in the league.

Fortune came for the significant three points to renew their lead in the league but the game ended goalless.

They gripped 8 points after winning two league matches and drawing two.

Hawks are currently occupying second from bottom in the league campaign with 2 points in four league games.

Tallinding United drew goalless with Elite United at the Real De Banjul Football Academy Field at Basori.

The Tallinding based-club snatched 3 points after four outings while Elite United are with 6 points in four league games.
