Abdourahman Jobe scored the second goal for The Gambia U-20 team in the 37th minute of the match to dash Fortune FC’s dreams of coming back to their feet.
Fortune FC fought hard for an equaliser and created goal scoring opportunities but failed to capitalise on them thus the first half ended 2-0 in favour of The Gambia U-20 team.
Upon resumption of the match, Fortune FC changed their style of play and dominated The Gambia U-20 team in the midfield, crafting goal scoring opportunities.
Bernard Sylva pulled out one goal for Fortune FC in the 55th minute of the match, which eventually proved to be a consolation for them thus the match ended 2-1 in favour of The Gambia U-20 team.
Coach Abdoulie Bojang and his Young Scorpions charges will be expecting to play more test matches to prepare well for the All Africa Games, Accra 2023.
