Gambia U-20 stretch muscles ahead of WAFU Zone A U-20 icebreaker

The Gambia U-20 team are stretching their muscles ahead of their 2024 WAFU Zone A U-20 football tournament opening match against Mauritania on 16th September 2024.

The Young Scorpions are currently training at the National Technical Training Centre in Old Yundum to prepare themselves ready for the sub-regional cadet biggest football festivity.

The Gambia U-20 team hammered Team Rhino 4-0 in their first warm up match played on Wednesday 14th August 2024 at the National Technical Training Centre in Old Yundum before slipping to Gambian Dutch Lions 1-0 in their second friendly match played on Friday 16th August 2024 at the same venue.

Coach Abdoulie Bojang will use the upcoming weeks to reinforce his team before the commencement of the 2024 WAFU Zone A U-20 football tournament.
