Gambia U-20 hone skills for Africa U-20 Youth Championship

The continent’s bi-annual cadet biggest football showpiece is set to commence on 19 February 2023.

The Young Scorpions are currently preparing themselves ready for the 2023 Total Energies Africa U-20 Youth Championship.

Coach Abdoulie Bojang and his charges are hoping to play more test matches to tackle their weaknesses and improve their skills before the commencement of the 2023 Total Energies Africa U-20 Youth Championship.

The Gambia U-20 team will commence its 2023 Total Energies Africa U-20 Youth Championship campaign against Tunisia on 21 February 2023.

Meanwhile, The Gambia U-20 team finished as runners-up in the 2022 WAFU Zone A U-20 football tournament after losing to Senegal 1-0 in a tightly-contested final played in Nouakchott, Mauritania.
