Gambia U-17 team return to training ahead of Somalia clash after slipping to Senegal

The Gambia U-17 team yesterday returned to training ahead of their second Group C fixture of the 2025 Total Energies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations against Somalia on 4th April 2025 at the El Abdi Stadium at 2pm.

The Baby Scorpions slipped to Senegal U-17 team 1-0 in their opening Group C match played on Tuesday.

Coach Yahya Manneh and his Baby Scorpions will train hard to improve on their weaknesses before locking horns with Somalia, who slipped to Tunisia 3-0 in their opening Group C match.

The Gambia U-17 team played brilliant football in their one nil defeat to Senegal in their opening Group C clash.

The Baby Scorpions require a win against Somalia to maintain their chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the 2025 Total Energies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
