Gambia U-17 continue screening of players as WAFU Zone A tourney looms

The Gambia U-17 technical staff yesterday continued its screening of the second batch of players selected from the nationwide tour on a rainy Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum, as WAFU Zone A U-17 Cup of Nations edges closer.

Coach Yahya Manneh and his technical staff will offload some players after today's session to cater to the final batch of players to be screened on Thursday and Friday.

The team is expected to begin regular training on Monday as they prepare for the upcoming WAFU-A CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers tournament in Mali.
