Gambia to gather formidable squad for int’l training camp in Turkey

The Gambia is set to gather a formidable squad for their upcoming international training camp in Turkey next month.

Coach Tom Saintfiet will be hoping to assemble a solid team to play against Niger, Togo and Kosovo in their international training camp matches.

Coach Saintfiet will use the training camp to prepare his team fit enough for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted in Cameroon.   

Meanwhile, The Gambia snatched qualification to the Africa Cup of Nations following their slender 1-0 victory over Angola in their tricky qualifier match played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on 25 March 2021.
