The Deaf Scorpions lost to host nation Nigeria 5-3 on post-match penalty shootouts after regular time failed to produce a winner in a well-contested final played in Abuja on Saturday.
The Gambia deaf national team performed extremely well and created goal scoring chances but failed to capitalise on them thus the match ended stalemate.
This pushed the into post-match penalty shootouts, which ended 5-3 in favour of Nigeria.
