The African Men’s Championship which begins from September 1st to 14th 2023 will be held in Cairo, Egypt.
Meanwhile, The Gambia Volleyball Federation has named the final list of its men’s team which comprises setters, middle blockers, outside hitters, opposite hitters and libero.
Setters are Alpha Ceesay and Ebrima Mbye
Middle Blockers are Sheikh Colley, Baboucarr Joof and Ensa Kanyi
Outside Hitters are Amadou Jarjue, Jahara Koita, Modou Ngum and Modou Lamin Jarju
Opposite Hitters are Ebrima Bah and Fodayba Jawara
Libero is Sulayman Bah
Officials are Saikou Omar Badjie as head coach, Lamin F. Badjie as assistant coach, Alagie Ceesay as 2nd assistant coach and Christian Jatta as Physio respectively.
Mariama Sowe is the head of delegation and Alagie Jandi as team manager.
