Gaffer Alagie Sarr announces squad for Algeria match

Gambia Coach Alhagie Sarr has announced a strong twenty-three (23) man squad for his side’s return-leg fixture of the 2025 Total Energies African Nations Championship qualifier against Algeria in Annaba.

The local-based Scorpions yesterday, Wednesday, 7th May 2025 left Banjul for Algiers ahead of their decisive second-leg qualifier match against the Algerians.

The Gambia drew goalless with Algeria in the first-leg match of the 2025 Total Energies CHAN qualifier played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Saturday.

The winner will qualify for the 2025 Total Energies CHAN competition to be staged in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda in August 2025.

The players travelled to Algiers for the Algeria clash are:
