The swimming event and master class was led by two internationally renowned Russian athletes, Alexander Krasnykh, Olympic silver medalist and European champion in swimming and Andrei Arbuzov, multiple world and European champion in swimming.
The event brought together young SBEC International School swimmers and Aqua Swimming.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the public swimming event and mater class, Russian Ambassador to The Gambia, Dmitri Kurakov, stated that he witnessed talented swimmers during Foundation Adansonia International swimming event and master class at the SBEC School Swimming Court.
Multiple World and European champion in swimming, Andrei Arbuzov, revealed that the swimmers were blessed talents.
Olympic silver medallist, Alexander Krasnykh, expressed delight with the performance of swimmers during Adansonia Foundation public swimming event and master class.
Honorary Consul Momodou Lamin Manga, applauded Foundation Adansonia for making this initiative happen.
Manga stated that the initiative would give Gambians an opportunity augment skills.
He thanked the management of SBEC International School, adding that it’s amazing to see a Gambian school with a vision to build infrastructure which would give youngster the platform to dream Olympics.
