Barrow and Darboe were invited to the country’s CHAN team after their stunning performance with TMT FC and Fortune FC in the 2024\2025 Vista Bank-Baluwo sponsored Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League campaign.
The pair were part of Gunjur United team that slipped to Team Rhino 2-1 in their First Division League promotion play-off match played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau in 2021.
Barrow and Darboe were also part of the Coastal Town based-team that lost to Wallidan 2-1 on penalties in the 2022 GFF FF Cup semi-final match played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau after regulation time ended 2-2.
The duo will fight during training sessions to secure their places in The Gambia CHAN team.
