Falcons trounce SK East Bi to bolster 1st Tier promotion ambitions

Falcons on Wednesday defeated Serrekunda East Bi 3-2 in their week twenty-three encounter of the on-going Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau to bolster their first division league promotion ambitions.

The Abuko based-team scored three goals to secure a win over Serrekunda East Bi to boost their first division league promotion ambitions.

Serrekunda East Bi netted two goals, which eventually proved to be a consolation goal for them.

Falcons are still the second division league table with 49 points after twenty-three league outings, while the Serrekunda East boys are with 18 points in twenty-three league matches.

Serrekunda East Bi must win their remaining seven league clashes to stay in the second tier for another season.

Meanwhile, Steve Biko defeated Immigration 3-2 at the Real De Banjul Football Academy Field in Basori to maintain their first division league return aspirations.
