Falcons squander two vital points in 2nd Division League

Falcons on Tuesday squandered two vital points in the on-going Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League following their goalless draw with Team Rihno in their week-nineteen tie played at the National Technical Training Centre.

The Abuko based-team was leading the country’s second tier prior to their clash with the London Corner boys, who are scuffling for promotion to the first division league next season.

Falcons came for the significant three points to renew their lead on the league standings but the match ended goalless ensuring they squander two significant points in the country’s second tier.

The draw earned Falcons 39 points after nineteen league outings, while Team Rihno is with 30 points in nineteen league matches. 

Bombada drew goalless with PSV Wellingara at the Real De Banjul Football Academy Field in Basori.

Meanwhile, Bombada now bagged 23 points in nineteen league ties, while PSV Wellingara is with 22 points after nineteen league matches.
