Coco is preparing to compete in the Dubai Tennis Championships, which kicks off on Monday, February 17. Following a tough loss to Marta Kostyuk in Doha, she is determined to bounce back and regain her momentum.
The competition in Dubai will be tough, with 27 of the world's top 30 players participating, including Coco, who's currently ranked third globally and is a major winner in 2023. She'll compete against top and hard-hitting opponents such as Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, and Elina Rybakina.
Coco is seeking her first Dubai title to add to her impressive nine-career single titles, a remarkable achievement for the 20-year-old. Notably, she topped the list of highest-earning female athletes for 2023 and 2024.
The 2025 Dubai tennis tournament boasts a lucrative prize pool of over $3.6 million, with the singles champion taking home $597,000 and 1,000 ranking points at stake.
