Coach Saintfiet names squad ahead of Burundi, Ivory Coast World Cup qualifiers

Head coach of The Gambia senior national team, Tom Saintfiet has named his squad ahead of the country’s 2026 World Cup qualifier matches against Burundi and Ivory Coast respectively.

The Gambia will open its 2026 World Cup qualifier campaign against Burundi on 16th November 2023 before taking on Ivory Coast in their second qualifier match on 20th November 2023.

The Gambia U-20 star Mahmudu Bajo received a first call up to the senior national team following his sterling performance with his club.

Coach Tom Sainfiet will be hoping to assemble a formidable squad to increase his side’s chances of beating Burundi and Ivory Coast.
